Privacy Policy

RES Digital LLC applications do not collect, transmit, or store your personal information. This policy explains what that means in practice.

Summary

Our applications run entirely on your device. They contain no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, no crash reporting, and no user accounts. Nothing you enter into an application is transmitted to RES Digital LLC or to any third party. We do not have servers that receive your data, because our applications do not send any.

Information we collect

None. RES Digital LLC does not collect personal information through its applications. We do not know who you are, what you inspect, where you work, or how often you use the software.

Information stored on your device

Our applications store the information you enter — inspection records, sample data, project details, settings, session information, notes, and exported files — locally on your device, in folders you can browse yourself. This data belongs to you. It remains under your control and is never transmitted to us.

This data survives uninstalling the application. That is deliberate. Records, settings, and exported files stay in place on your device when the application is removed, and a later reinstall will find them and continue as though nothing happened. Updating, reinstalling an earlier version, or switching between our applications does not disturb them either. Your work does not depend on the software remaining installed.

Because the data persists, deleting it is your decision to make. You can remove the folders manually at any time using your device's file manager. We recommend backing them up first. RES Digital LLC cannot delete this data for you, cannot recover it if you delete it, and never had a copy — it exists only where you put it.

Files you export

Our applications can generate reports and documents in formats including CSV, PDF, Word, and chain-of-custody forms. These files are created on your device. What happens to them afterward is entirely your decision — you may email them, save them to cloud storage, print them, or transfer them however you choose. RES Digital LLC has no visibility into and no involvement in what you do with exported files.

Be aware that once you send a file through email, cloud storage, or another service, that service's own privacy practices apply to it.

Permissions

Our applications request only the device permissions required for the features you use — for example, file storage access in order to save an export, or camera access in order to attach a photograph to a record. Permissions are used for the stated function and nothing else. No permission is used to gather information about you.

Purchases

Applications are sold through the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. Those platforms process the transaction and handle payment information according to their own policies. RES Digital LLC does not receive, see, or store your payment details. For information about how those companies handle your data, consult the Google Play and Apple App Store privacy policies.

Children

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, because our applications do not collect information at all. Applications intended for professional use are designed for adults working in their field. Where an application is suitable for a general audience, the same rule holds: nothing is collected, nothing is transmitted, and no account is required.

Third parties

We do not share your information with third parties, because we do not have your information to share. Our applications do not include third-party analytics libraries, advertising software development kits, or similar components.

This website

This website is a set of static pages. It does not use cookies for tracking and does not run analytics. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and requested pages, as an ordinary part of delivering the site. We do not access these logs to identify individual visitors.

Your rights

Privacy laws in various jurisdictions grant you rights to access, correct, and delete personal information a company holds about you. Because RES Digital LLC holds no personal information about users of its applications, there is nothing for us to produce, correct, or erase. Your data is already in your possession, on your own device, under your own control.

Changes to this policy

If we release an application that behaves differently from what is described here — for example, one that requires an account or an internet connection — this policy will be updated before that application is published, and the effective date above will change. Material changes will be noted on this page.
